| Reverse description | A finely detailed, front-facing bust of an Apollo-era astronaut in a pressure suit and helmet dominates the central field against a dark, enamelled background, evoking the blackness of space. The polished visor of the helmet serves as a mirror, within which a striking colourised image depicts the lunar surface in the foreground and the Earth rising in the distance, a direct tribute to the iconic 'Earthrise' imagery of the Apollo missions. The spacesuit is rendered in high relief with meticulous detail, including shoulder patches and equipment fastenings. Two five-pointed stars flank the commemorative dates in the field.
