Obverse description Fourth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, as modelled by Ian Rank-Broadley, depicted wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara and a pearl drop earring. The engraver's initials 'IRB' appear below the truncation of the neck. The circumferential legend reads 'ALDERNEY FIVE POUNDS' to the upper left and 'ELIZABETH II' to the upper right, with the date '2010' positioned at the lower right of the field.
