Issued to mark the bicentenary of Wellington's campaign in India, where he served as a relatively junior officer before his Iberian fame. It was at the Battle of Assaye in 1803 — not Waterloo — that Wellington himself later called his finest victory, a fight won against odds of roughly five to one.
