Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse features a relief portrait of Royal Air Force ace Wing Commander Robert Stanford Tuck in uniform, depicted in three-quarter view facing slightly left, with his pilot's wings visible on his chest. To the right of the portrait, a color-printed vertical band replicates the ribbon of the Battle of Britain Clasp, rendered in dark blue, red, and light blue stripes. A rectangular label bearing the inscription 'BATTLE OF BRITAIN' is superimposed on the ribbon. The abbreviation 'DBF' with a small aircraft motif appears at the top of the field, while the name 'ROBERT STANFORD TUCK' is inscribed on a scroll-like banner across the lower portion of the design, above the denomination 'FIVE POUNDS' in the exergue.
