Aanvullende informatie

Alderney has issued commemorative five-pound pieces under its own authority since the early 1990s, a arrangement that allows the Bailiwick dependency to produce legal tender distinct from Guernsey's own coinage despite having no independent central bank. The 60th wedding anniversary issue in 2007 marked what is formally the Diamond Wedding — a milestone Elizabeth II and Prince Philip reached on November 20th of that year, the only British monarch ever to do so.

The dual KM reference reflects separate catalog assignments for proof and uncirculated finishes, both struck by the Royal Mint on contract.
