In the lower right quadrant, a cluster of three red Flanders poppies rendered in vivid colour printing rises from slender green stems, serving as the principal emblem of remembrance. The designer's initials GB appear incuse at lower right, adjacent to the floral motif. The reverse field is otherwise unadorned, allowing the inscription and coloured poppies to carry the full commemorative weight of the design. |
