| Descrizione del rovescio | The full achievement of the Royal Arms is depicted centrally, comprising the quartered shield bearing the lions of England, the lion of Scotland, and the harp of Ireland, encircled by the Garter bearing the motto of the Order. The shield is surmounted by the Royal Crown and flanked by elaborate mantling with tasselled cords. The motto of the Order of the Garter, ·HONI·SOIT·QUI·MAL·Y·PENSE·, runs around the Garter encircling the shield. The Platinum Jubilee regnal dates 1952 and 2022 appear prominently in the lower exergue, separated by a decorative fleur-de-lis ornament, with the designer's initials JB to the right of the shield. |
