Peter Rabbit entered the public domain in the UK in 1973, fifty years after Beatrix Potter's death, but the Royal Mint's licensing arrangement with Frederick Warne & Co. — the original publisher — long predates that. This 2022 piece is part of a collector series that began in 2016, timed to the 150th anniversary of Potter's birth.
