Additional information

Issued to mark the 60th anniversary of Elizabeth II's coronation, this piedfort doubles the standard crown blank — a format the Royal Mint revived in 1982 specifically for collector issues after a centuries-long dormancy. The 4th portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley had been in service since 1998, making 2013 one of its final years before Jody Clark's 5th effigy replaced it in 2015.
