| 正面描述 | Uncrowned, bare-headed effigy of King Charles III facing left, modelled by sculptor Martin Jennings, his initials 'MJ' appearing discreetly in the lower field below the truncation. The circumferential legend reads CHARLES III · D · G · REX · F · D · 5 POUNDS, with the date 2024 positioned along the lower arc. The portrait is rendered with fine detail in high relief, characteristic of a proof striking, against a deeply mirrored field. |

| 背面描述 | The celebrated St. George and the Dragon design by Benedetto Pistrucci, first introduced on British coinage in 1817, depicted in high-relief proof finish. St. George, helmeted and draped with a billowing cloak, rides a rearing horse to the right, thrusting a broken lance downward into the writhing dragon beneath the horse's hooves. The scene is set upon a ground line above an exergual panel inscribed PISTRUCCI. The entire central composition is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the motto of the Order of the Garter — HONI · SOIT · QUI · MAL · Y · PENSE — arranged around the circumference between the inner and outer rims. |
