| Obverse description | Central field features an elaborate interlaced Arabic calligraphic composition in Thuluth script bearing the country name, flanked symmetrically by two circular medallions containing additional Arabic inscriptions. A stylized foliate or torch-like ornamental device rises from the top of the central calligraphic group. The dual dates AH 1405 and AD 1985, rendered in Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals, appear prominently in the lower field. The entire design is framed by a decorative inner border of alternating rectangular and dotted segments. |
