A large guilloche medallion occupies the left border. The main text panel bears the full promise-to-pay legend in copperplate script over a blue oval underprint, with the denomination £5 in bold at lower left and right, and two manuscript signatures of the Governor and Treasurer above the founding act reference at the foot. |
