| Obverse description | Central field features an ornate calligraphic Arabic inscription rendered in an interlaced Thuluth script style, rising from the lower field and flanked on either side by two circular medallions bearing additional Arabic legends. A stylized torch or flame motif rises from the centre of the calligraphic composition toward the upper field. The dual dates appear prominently in the lower portion of the field in Eastern Arabic-Indic and Western Arabic numerals: the Hijri year 1409 and the Gregorian year 1989. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border and a dashed outer border. |
