| 备注 |
Rhodesia's Unilateral Declaration of Independence in November 1965 forced a rapid reorganization of the territory's currency apparatus. The Reserve Bank of Rhodesia had been established only in 1964, replacing the Bank of Rhodesia and Nyasaland after the Federation dissolved, and by 1966 it was issuing notes under sanctions conditions — an arrangement that required careful management of international printing relationships.
Rhodesian Security Printing carried no imprint on this issue despite the notes being produced in London, a deliberate omission almost certainly intended to obscure the supply chain from international scrutiny. Bruce served as the first Governor of the Reserve Bank of Rhodesia.
