Obverse description Brown and orange bicolour note with a portrait vignette of King Farouk positioned to the right and a vignette of the Mosque of Muhammad Ali to the left. A guilloche-patterned underprint frames the central field, with the watermark reserve area situated at bottom centre. Bilingual inscriptions in Arabic appear across the upper and lower registers.
