| Beschrijving voorzijde | Uncrowned effigy of King Charles III facing left, rendered in high relief after the official portrait by Martin Jennings. The legend reads '• CHARLES III • BAILIWICK OF JERSEY •' arcing along the upper periphery, with the date '2026' at lower right and the denomination 'FIVE POUNDS' along the lower rim. The portrait is executed in a naturalistic style with fine detail in the hair and facial features. The initials 'GD' appear in the field, denoting the engraver. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Victoria died on 22 January 1901 at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, ending a reign of nearly 64 years — the longest of any British monarch to that point. Jersey, as a Crown dependency outside the United Kingdom proper, issues its own coinage under separate authority and has a long history of commemorating British royal milestones independently of the Royal Mint. The 125th anniversary marker is an unconventional interval, suggesting a commercial rather than strictly calendrical motivation for the issue.
