| Obverse description | Within a plain central field, a large bold numeral '5' occupies the center of the coin. Surrounding the central design is a circular legend reading 'KANTINE' above and 'GARBÁTY' below, separated by six-pointed star stops at each side. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded border running along the inner rim, giving the token a neat, utilitarian appearance typical of World War I-era German canteen emergency coinage. |
