| Obverse description | The obverse displays the large numeral '5' prominently in the central field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The peripheral legend reads 'STADT SUHL - KLEINGELDERSATZ' in raised Latin letters, running around the entire circumference between an outer dotted border and the inner beaded ring. Two small floral ornaments flank a five-pointed star at the base of the legend. The overall design is plain and functional, characteristic of World War I German Notgeld emergency coinage. |
