Three six-pointed stars are evenly spaced along the lower arc of the legend outside the inner beaded border. A continuous outer beaded border frames the entire design, and a small central hole is present near the top of the flan consistent with the obverse. The design is plain and functional, characteristic of emergency coinage of the World War I era.
