| Obverse description | Green letterpress-printed Notgeld on plain paper, enclosed within a ruled border framing a central text panel. The denomination "5 Pfennig" is set in bold type at the head, followed by the designation "AUSHILFSSCHEIN" and a multi-line German text confirming acceptance by all public treasuries of the Seestadt Rostock, with the note dated "Rostock, d. 15. Februar 1920" and signed by two manuscript signatures beneath the issuer's name "Rostocker Bank".
