| Obverse description | The octagonal flan features an outer pearl border running along all eight sides, enclosing a continuous circular legend reading PINNEBERGER BANK flanked by small six-pointed star ornaments, with the date 1917 positioned at the base. Within the legend, a secondary pearl circle frames the central device, which consists of the municipal coat of arms of Pinneberg: a heraldic shield depicting a fortified tower or gatehouse above wavy water, flanked by two six-pointed stars in the upper field. The design is executed in a functional, low-relief style typical of German World War I Notgeld emergency coinage. |
