The circular legend KRIEGSGELD 1918 arcs around the upper portion of the field, flanked by two small six-pointed stars serving as separators. The denomination word PFENNIG is inscribed along the lower arc, completing the surrounding legend. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, consistent with wartime emergency coinage production. |
