| Obverse description | A raised solid line rim encloses the design. The city coat of arms of Neidenburg occupies the central field, depicting an armoured knight standing facing, holding a sword in the right hand and a branch in the left, framed by a wreath of foliage and flanked by a row of five-pointed stars along the lower arc. The Latin legend STADT NEIDENBURG arcs across the upper half of the field above the coat of arms, separated from it by a beaded inner circle. Three six-pointed stars appear at the base of the legend. |
