Opmerkingen

Kreissparkasse Lüchow was the district savings bank serving Lüchow in Lower Saxony — a rural backwater even by Weimar-era standards. Small-denomination notgeld of this type was issued by hundreds of municipal and district institutions after 1914 to plug the gap left by hoarded imperial coinage, and Lüchow's issues are among the more obscure examples, with survival rates difficult to establish given how little collector attention the county ever attracted.

At 50 × 35 mm, this is among the smallest format notgeld produced anywhere in Germany.
