| Reverse description | An outer pearl border frames the circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE ('small change substitute token') running around the periphery of the coin. At the centre of the field, the municipal coat of arms of Kellinghusen is depicted in relief, featuring a crenellated fortified wall surmounted by three towers in the upper half, and a sailing vessel on water in the lower half of the shield.
