| Reverse description | Within a beaded border, the central field displays the municipal coat of arms of Immenstadt in relief, a quartered shield depicting a fish on the left half and a stylized floral or foliate motif on the right half, surmounted by a mural crown or beehive-like crest flanked by small decorative elements. The date '1919' is inscribed in the exergue below the shield in plain numerals. The overall composition is unadorned and utilitarian, consistent with wartime Notgeld issue. |

| Additional information |
Immenstadt's 1919 emergency coinage belongs to the first wave of postwar German Kleingeldersatz, issued when the collapse of the imperial government and the disruption of centralized minting left municipalities scrambling to fill a vacuum of small change. Zinc was the default material for these civic issues — copper had been consumed by the war, and aluminum was not yet reliably available at the local level.
Funck 227.1 distinguishes this as the primary variety, implying at least one subsidiary issue exists under the same catalog number.
