| Additional information |
Saxonia AG was a sugar refinery operating in Glöthe, a village in Prussian Saxony, and like many large agricultural processing facilities of the late imperial and Weimar periods, it issued its own factory tokens to manage wage payments and company store transactions among its seasonal workforce. These notgeld-adjacent pieces circulated entirely within the closed economy of the works and surrounding estate housing.
