Reverse description The central field displays the large numeral 5 in relief, denoting the denomination, with the word NACH inscribed directly below it. The circular legend GILTIG BIS 6 MONAT NACH FRIEDENSSCHLUSS (valid until 6 months after the conclusion of peace) runs around the periphery, interrupted by two six-pointed stars serving as separators at the left and right. A plain inner border frames the design, characteristic of German notgeld emergency coinage of the First World War period.
