Reverse description A raised pearl border encircles the outer rim of the reverse. Four heraldic coats of arms are arranged around a central oak tree, the tree's trunk serving as the vertical axis of the composition. The date '1918' is split by the base of the oak trunk, with '19' to the left and '18' to the right in the lower field. The oak tree, a traditional German symbol of strength, and the four shields together represent the constituent communities of the Dieburg district.
