Obverse description The coat of arms of the City of Cham occupies the central field, surmounted by a mural crown. The shield depicts crossed implements over a gate or architectural motif in the lower portion, rendered in relief typical of wartime emergency coinage. The circular legend STADTGEMEINDE above and CHAM below frames the arms, separated by the shield's outline. A continuous pearl border encloses the entire design.
