备注	Seidenberg — today the Polish-German border town of Zawidów/Seidenberg — issued this note as part of the vast wave of municipal Notgeld that flooded German commerce between 1919 and 1921. The collapse of small-denomination coinage after the war forced thousands of German and Austrian towns to print their own emergency pfennig notes, and Seidenberg was no exception. Otto Müller's signature identifies a local official rather than a banking authority — this was a municipal administrative act, not a central banking one. Lower Silesian Notgeld of this period was frequently printed in small runs and redeemed quickly, making surviving examples harder to find than their humble face value suggests.
