A beaded inner ring separates the central device from the outer legend. The circular Latin legend reads STADT. OSNABRVGK., with the date appearing at the conclusion of the inscription. The overall design reflects the typical civic heraldic style of late 16th- to 17th-century North German municipal coinage. |
