The central field carries the large bold numeral '5' above the denomination text 'Fünf Pfennig' in Gothic blackletter script, with the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat der Stadt Neuruppin' inscribed below. The denomination '5 Pfennig' repeats in the left and right side panels, a serial number appears at lower left, and 'Serie I' is printed at lower right, with two manuscript signatures across the centre; the printer's imprint 'Druck Selmar Bayer, Berlin S.O. 36' runs along the bottom margin.
