Obverse lettering REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA VALE POR CINCO PESOS QUE EL TESORO NACIONAL RECIBIRÁ EN CALIDAD DE MONEDA DE CURSO LEGAL. Decreto del 3 de Febrero de 1910.
(Translation: Republic of Nicaragua Value of Five Pesos Which The National Treasury will receive as legal currency. Decree of February 3, 1910.)
Reverse description Black letterpress on beige guilloche underprint, with a repeated 'cinco pesos' text pattern forming the background. At center, the Nicaraguan Coat of Arms is set within an ornamental rectangular frame, encircled by a round official stamp inscribed TESORO NACIONAL REP. DE NICARAGUA. The bold denomination words CINCO and PESOS flank the central vignette at left and right respectively, with the printer's imprint at the bottom margin.
