| 背面描述 | Printed entirely in orange-red. The design is composed of two large circular guilloche medallions, each bearing the numeral "5" at center, placed symmetrically at left and right. Between them, a central panel carries the bank name in two lines flanked by intricate lathe-work geometric ornaments and Greek-key border bands. The word CINCO appears vertically along the left border, and the four corners are filled with ornate floral rosette panels. The printer's imprint appears at the bottom center. |

| 备注 |
The Banco del Paraguay was established in 1871 as the country's first bank, created partly to manage the catastrophic financial aftermath of the War of the Triple Alliance, which had ended just two years earlier and left Paraguay with perhaps 10–15% of its prewar male population surviving. By 1882, when this note was issued, ABNC had become the default choice for Latin American issuers seeking engraved security printing of international standing — their New York plates were difficult to counterfeit locally, a real concern in a country with almost no functioning financial infrastructure.
The "Fuertes" designation distinguished these notes from depreciated paper issues circulating elsewhere in the region.
