备注

The Banco Comercial de Corrientes was one of several provincial banks that proliferated in Argentina during the 1860s, operating largely outside the reach of Buenos Aires financial supervision. Corrientes province had a long habit of monetary independence — it was among the last Argentine provinces to formally integrate into the national economic framework, and its local banking notes circulated in a regional economy still heavily tied to yerba mate and livestock trade rather than the commercial flows that anchored the Littoral ports.

PS#1585 is rare in any condition. Provincial Argentine issues of this period were printed in small quantities, redeemed poorly, and rarely preserved systematically.
