Description de l’avers	Central vignette in intaglio presents an allegorical female bust in three-quarter view, wearing a laurel wreath, drop earrings, and a draped garment, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint with floral and wheat motifs. The denomination CINCO PESOS appears in large letterpress to the right, flanked by the bank title across the top and the date MONTEVIDEO, JULIO 18 DE 1930 below the payment clause. A blank watermark panel is reserved at left, with the serial number printed twice in black at upper left and lower right.

Description du revers	Large-scale intaglio vignette of mounted gauchos in full gallop occupies the left and centre of the field, with a bearded rider in the foreground gripping a lance and a second horseman visible behind on a grey horse. The Uruguayan coat of arms with a radiant sun crest appears at lower right, framed by a cartouche inscribed CENTENARIO DE 1830, with the denomination numeral 5 in red at upper right within a guilloche border.
