| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on white paper with a red-orange underprint border. At upper centre, the bank title 'El Banco Rio Cuarto' appears in bold serif lettering alongside a serial number. To the left, a large vignette of a stag's head with antlers occupies the corner, while at centre a pastoral river scene shows a figure paddling a canoe. At lower right, a classical female allegorical figure is rendered in fine intaglio engraving. Denomination numeral '5' appears at both lower left and upper right within ornamental cartouches, and the value legend 'CINCO PESOS BOLIVIANAS' is printed in a bold highlighted panel across the lower centre. |
