Obverse description The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a shield divided into three sections with a key, royal palm, and blue-and-white striped bands, supported by an oak branch and laurel wreath, surmounted by the Phrygian cap. The curved legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs above along the rim. The face value 5 PESOS appears in the lower field, flanked by the silver fineness AG 0.999 and the weight 16G. inscribed on either side.
