正面描述 The obverse is printed in red and pink tones over a multicolour guilloche underprint in blue and orange. At upper left, the large numeral '5' appears in red, with the issuer's name 'PROVINCIA DE MENDOZA' across the top centre. The central text reads 'LETRAS DE TESORERÍA GARANTIZADAS CON REGALÍAS PETROLÍFERAS / PETROM', with 'AL PORTADOR' and the word 'CINCO' in large red intaglio-style lettering, followed by 'PESOS VALOR NOMINAL' and a second numeral '5'. At right, a vignette of an oil derrick rises above a stylised landscape, with the Argentine coat of arms below it; at upper right, the serial number and series designation 'SERIE A' are printed in black.

备注

Mendoza is one of the few Argentine provinces to have operated its own mint — the Casa de Moneda de la Provincia de Mendoza — giving it the rare ability to produce emergency quasi-currency entirely within provincial borders. This note is part of the wave of provincial "Lecop"-style instruments that persisted well after the 2001–2002 federal collapse, with several provinces continuing to print their own paper past the formal end of the crisis as Buenos Aires moved slowly to reabsorb circulating surrogates.

The PS# designation indicates this has not been formally catalogued in a recognized Pick Supplement series — treat attribution details with corresponding caution.
