| Obverse description | Printed in olive-green and brown on light paper, the obverse carries at left the provincial coat of arms of Formosa set within ornamental guilloche borders, with a bold numeral '5' at right enclosed in an intricate lathe-work panel. The upper field bears the issuing authority and bond title in bold letterpress, while emission and maturity dates appear in the central field beneath the denomination spelled out in full. Serie A designation and the responsible sub-secretariat are noted in the lower register. |
