| Obverse description | The obverse features the Sol de Mayo, the traditional Argentine national symbol, depicted as a radiant sun with a human face at centre, displaying alternating straight and wavy rays emanating outward across the field. Two laurel-olive sprigs flank the lower portion of the design, their stems meeting at the base. The outer border consists of a continuous ring of raised beads.
