| Opmerkingen |
Pick 62 was produced entirely in-house at the Banco de México's own printing works — one of relatively few central banks in Latin America during this period operating a fully integrated security printing facility rather than contracting abroad. The decision to print domestically had been consolidated through the 1950s and reflected a deliberate policy of keeping production under direct institutional control.
Reyes Santana's design credit places this within a body of work produced by the bank's internal design staff rather than the international engraving houses — Bradbury Wilkinson, American Bank Note — that dominated the region's earlier issues.
