| Opmerkingen |
Cuba's shift to the Státní Tiskárna Cenin — the Czech state security printer in Prague — for its early revolutionary banknote production was a direct consequence of the U.S. trade embargo and Cuba's rapid economic alignment with the Eastern Bloc after 1960. American Banknote Company, which had printed Cuban currency for decades, was no longer an option.
The P#95 series ran across several years with only minor variations, and date-of-issue attribution can be difficult without accompanying documentation. STC Prague used intaglio printing for the series, consistent with their work for other socialist-aligned states during the same period.
