备注

The Banco de México had relied on American Bank Note Company for decades by the time this series entered production — a relationship that stretched back to the 1920s and reflected Mexico's limited domestic intaglio capacity rather than any particular preference. ABNC's New York facilities handled the security printing for most of the mid-century Mexican series, and the quality consistency across the run is notable given the thirteen-year production span.

Pick 60 spans a period that saw Mexico's "Stabilizing Development" economic policy in full effect — low inflation, fixed exchange rate, steady peso confidence. A 5-peso note circulated comfortably in daily commerce throughout most of the issue period before inflation began eroding small-denomination utility by the late 1960s.
