正面描述	Rose-printed emergency circulating note with a vignette of General Douglas MacArthur at left, surrounded by decorative borders with CINCO PESOS repeated in the underprint. The central text area bears the promise to pay clause in the name of the Philippine National Bank, Iloilo Branch, issued by authority of the President of the Philippines, dated May 1, 1944. Three manuscript signatures of the Iloilo Currency Committee members appear along the lower portion, with their respective titles: Acting Provincial Auditor, Acting Manager P.N.B. Iloilo (Chairman), and Acting Provincial Fiscal.

背面描述	The reverse is printed in rose on plain paper with a large guilloché numeral "5" at center within an ornate oval frame, flanked by decorative floral and geometric border elements. The inscriptions "Iloilo City" and "Philippines" appear to the left of the numeral, with the date "May 1, 1944" to the right. The lower margin carries the legend "Emergency Circulating Note of 1944" with small ornamental devices on either side, and FIVE PESOS in the bottom border.
