Obverse description Typeset letterpress note printed in black on plain paper, with the large bold denomination numeral P5.00 as the central device. Blue handwritten serial numbers appear at upper left and upper right, dated July 4, 1943. The text FIVE PESOS is repeated in a row along the top border, and SALCEDO SAMAR is repeated along the bottom border; three manuscript signatures appear at the foot of the note alongside the titles Mun. Mayor, Judgo, and Mun. Tesorero.
