正面描述	Plain unadorned note printed in brown on white paper stock with a fine guilloche underprint pattern. The upper portion carries the inscription COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES / PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, the date January 12, 1942, and SERIES OF 1942 in the upper corners. The central text reads PAY TO BEARER ON DEMAND THE SUM OF FIVE PESOS (Philippine Currency), with a further legend charging the amount against the deposit of the Provincial Treasurer of Negros Occidental with the Philippine National Bank, Bacolol Branch, accompanied by two signature lines for the Prov. Auditor and the Provincial Treasurer, and a serial number in the lower left.

背面描述	The reverse is printed in brown on plain white paper and is dominated by a repeated underprint pattern of the denomination numeral 5 and the word PESOS arranged diagonally across the entire field. A bold central vignette in large block letters reads FIVE PESOS, flanked on the left and right margins by vertical inscriptions reading PESOS, with the numeral 5 appearing in each corner. A uniform dotted border frames the entire design.
