Obverse description	Plain salmon-toned paper with a simple guilloche border running the full perimeter. The upper portion carries the heading PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK / EMERGENCY CIRCULATING NOTE OF 1941, followed by the promise text WILL PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND / FIVE PESOS / IN LAWFUL CURRENCY OF THE PHILIPPINES. The denomination numeral 5 appears in each corner, with a large roman numeral V at center-left, the serial number in red at lower center, and a City of Bacolod handstamp at lower right along with three manuscript signatures of the Negros Occidental Currency Committee members.
