Obverse description Orange-tinted note with vertical line underprint enclosed by a sawtooth border. The text block at centre carries the issuing bank name and promise-to-pay legend in bold letterpress, with the Roman numeral V in the upper left corner and the denomination FIVE PESOS in large bold type at centre. The circular seal of the Philippine National Bank is applied at lower right in black ink, with a red serial number printed twice and the signatures of three committee members — Provincial Fiscal Member, Acting Manager PNB Bacolod Branch (Chairman), and Acting Provincial Auditor Member — along the lower portion.
